I am pleased to give this Mexican restaurant a solid 5 stars. I really like the authentic decor, the staff are welcoming and efficient, and the food... Oh, boy - so good! (Every. single. time!) One of my favourite local restaurants, now - without question. Go... you will thank me!

This place is awesome. Modest prices and amazing food, I left completely stuffed. Spoke with the owner and he was super friendly and informative, even told me about his local produce supplier. You have to eat here, trust me.

It was good! Portion sizes and presentation need work but this could be as simple as replacing those ugly plates that come out of the oven. I gave 3 stars because the server was bad like really bad It felt like her first day. Only 4 tables 2,2,3(us) I even had to show her how to type in a credit card manually due to the machine error, this shouldn't have been a problem to anyone with experience. I have full love for front of house they make sure us chefs don't have to deal with all the personalities that come in. So a bad server will ruin a return visit for me. Truly a shame(P.s Don't let people see a dirty rag while cleaning tables during covid that thing was full of all kinds of gross)

I always enjoy coming here, great food and they have a variety of house made salsas that are really good.

Service was slow when we went, and it wasn't very busy. The food was ok, but nothing I haven't seen everywhere else. Wish it were better.

Excellent Mexican joint! Fun atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food. Went on my birthday and got a free deep fried ice cream to split with my girlfriend. And she got picture of me in a sombrero. Happiness all round!

Went for a dining experience a few weeks ago and the food was amazing. Our server however seemed like he ate an entire bag of edibles... Completely aloof, forgetful, and slow.Fast forward to trying to order take out..."can you just hold for like 5 minutes?" 5 MINUTES? Whatever, benefit of the doubt... Called back in ten minutes and was told "no we are too busy right now" and hung up. You guys are going to run yourselves out of business with your staff. Good luck.

Delicious authentic Mexican food at this lovely local spot. My husband and I shared the tasty trio to start which was fresh guacamole, queso and hot bean dip with melted cheese, served with tortilla chips. Yum-o! For our mains, hubby had a beef burrito and I had the chicken mole. Both were delicious, though the portion on my chicken was a bit small (more of a tender than a breast). That is the only reason I did not give 5 stars. Would go back and definitely try other dishes, as everything really was quite good 👍

Went to Bella Jack's last night and had such an awesome experience. The staff worked together to quickly deliver food and drinks to our table. The food was fantastic and the margaritas were to die for. Great experience and will be returning!!

I've only been there once so far but expect to return. The food is great. I felt they might have been under-staffed for a Saturday evening.

A real Taste of Mexico right in downtown Saint Thomas. Staff are friendly and very efficient and the food is served piping hot. I would suggest you try the fajitas for two. They just can't be beat.

Very poor service. We have been in the restaurant and had a horrible experience with the wait staff. Slow. Rude. Unpleasant. The food was good. So we tried takeout. They forgot one of our meals. We got all the way home before noticing. Mistakes happen. Not even an apology. Barely even acknowledged as meal was handed over. We won’t be going back.

I've been going here for 20 years, and it has always been one of my favourite places to eat. The menu doesn't change, but the food they serve is just straight delicious, so I'm good with it. I go because I k ow what I am getting, and know it's great.

This place is fantastic! While I've never been to Mexico, this place is the closest to what I assume authentic Mexican cuisine tastes like. The environment is perfect for a sit down dinner or just a couple margaritas. Hands down my favorite night out is one that starts with Bella Jacks.

Want great dine in Mexican food? Worth coming to St Thomas for. All the food is really good. Depending on the day and time it can be a little loud but not enough to dissuade us.

Food was great and the service was over the top! 4 features ordered and all were excellent. This explains why they are so busy.

Really authentic mexican! Tortilla soup was nice and spicy, the verde sauce/mild sauce, as well as the guac, were amazing. Small portion size for the quesadilla.

Just love this place. You can be a foodie and totally dove into some pretty exotic hot sauces in a super cultural environment and atmosphere. Great service, decent prices and nice portions. Definitely a win all around.

The fastest, freshest and most flavorful food I have had in a long time. Everything I've had is delicious, staff are always friendly. Make sure to call ahead and check availability - places like this get really busy! But the wait is worth it.

Had the basic soft tacos and enchiladas since it was our first visit, fish, beef, and chicken. Very tasty, great portions. Waitstaff seemed a little overwhelmed, had to flag them down to give our order even though there were only 5 tables total.

I'll start by saying that the food IS good, but that hardly makes up for the customer service. I'm actually STUNNED at how poor it is. First time there I could have sworn our server was on drugs, repeatedly bringing the wrong items or duplicate items, happened at least 4 or 5 times. I call a month or so later, ask if I can place an order for pick up, and am responded to with "I don't know. What do you want?". I give them another chance and call again tonight for pick up, first time someone answers they ask of I can hold for 5 minutes and then hang up on me. I call back 5 minutes later and am told they can't help me because they're too busy, and I should call back in another half an hour. No thanks, I'll take my business elsewhere. Three strikes and you're out.

N5P3H8It seems to me the atmosphere and vibe has changed since it first opened. I noticed serviettes on the table had small food stains, a booth seat was loose, I had to move to a table. I overheard a staff member mention the increase of minimum wage. Should that make a difference for being friendly, service or keeping the seating in good repair?

St. Thomas's only mexican joint. But a great one so why go elsewhere? Great atmosphere, service and food! It's a shame they charge $1 for their, once complimentary, chips and salsa. Reasonably, understandable, but just hide the cost somewhere else...

The best nachos in the world especially the meat lovers they are the best. All the staff is great fair prices.

We love the house-made chips and salsa to start, and every dish is prepared with care. Try the slush lime margarita and the outrageous chimi.

Very typical Mexican affair. Food was well sized for portions. They do seem to make their salsas and guacamole. Which were tasty and did add additional flavors to my meal. The service was great, we were there 1hr before close and they had no issues accommodating us for dinner.

Love this place. Our family loves it so much, after being told it would be an hour for a table we waited. And oh boy was it worth the wait. Best mexican food in a 100km radius. I would drive an hour and a half to eat here.

It has amazing true Mexican food but service slow. Amazing mexican atmosphere and really adds to the experience.

This place is awesome, they have great Mexican food. The service was great as they are very knowledgeable and attentive. You defiantly get a Mexican feel when you are inside. The food was delicious and the chips and salsa to start was fantastic. The only downfall is the parking downtown.

This is a great place to get some quality Mexican food. They also offer a really good sangria to get you to try the spicier hot sauces they provide you with the complimentary chips. Lunch here is a good deal with large sizes for a reasonable price.
